About Rural Needs Initiative (RNI)
RNI is a voluntary organisation and a registered charity, based in The Corner House Children’s Centre in Marlborough, Wiltshire.
We work to overcome the effects of rural isolation in Kennet by providing support to individuals and families particularly those with children under 5.
Our main point of contact with rural areas is through Toddler Groups.
- We visit around 25 such groups regularly, so that leaders, parents, carers and individuals have easy access to information and advice.
- Regular visits mean that we develop strong relationships with the groups, which means we really get to know what’s needed in that area.
We also work closely with other organisations helping to ease the difficulties of rural living, such as lack of transport, childcare issues, and poor access to services. So whatever the problem, we can help you find the solution.
We’re always keen to find out how we can adapt our services to need. Please phone, email or visit us with your ideas. Contact us here
