Rural Needs Initiative Rural Needs Initiative - supporting young families

Supporting families in Kennet
Rural living is lovely. Isn’t it? Fresh air, no traffic jams, long walks, room for children to play….

But if you’re a parent with children at home it might not always be quite so lovely.

Who do you talk to if isolation turns to loneliness?
How do you get to do anything if you haven’t got a car?
Where do you start if you need information about available services?
How do you manage if you want to learn new skills?
What if your confidence level is so low that you just can’t make decisions about family life, parenting, learning or work?

RNI supports families with children under 19 who live in Kennet and surrounding areas. We can help with all sorts of issues that arise from living in Kennet’s rural areas.

We’re a ‘rural outreach’ organisation, so we come to you. We do this by regularly visiting Toddler Groups - 25 at the last count - so parents, carers and individuals have easy access to information and advice.

We are here to listen and to help so do get in touch!
